Marion was born on July 26,1947 and married Paula Sept. 10, 1971. He served in the Navy from 1966-1988 and was discharged as an LDO Lt. He served on the Southerland from 1966-1970 as a BT2. He retired as a Certified Steam Generating Plant Inspector. His other duty stations included USS Iwo Jima LPH-2, USS Fanning DE-1076, NTC San Diego, USS Gridley CG-21, USS Kitty Hawk CV-63, USS William H. Standley CG-32, and USS Dubuque LPD-8. After retirement he spent 4 years with the Woodland County Sherill Dept in Woodland, OK. He then served the state of Oklahoma as Inspector for varios entities before retiring from state service in 2007. He is now employed at a large mechanical insurance company in Yukon, OK.
